I had saw an ad in our local magazine about buyer financing, call for approval. I called the 800# and they said that I would receive a phone call from the company to speak with someone to get approved. I spoke with Keith Anthony back in August 2012. He preapproved me for $145,000. They sent me the contracts and all of the forms to sign. I had to have them notorized and sent them back along with wiring them $4,000 to a federal back in NY. I received a call that evening from Keith Anthony stating that they would start the offer process first thing Monday morning. I worked with a women named Julianna that so unprofessional and rude. They never called me back about anything. She always said that Keith Anthony had to ok it or sign it. I waited a week just to get an offer signed. By the time it was signed the property was already sold. We went through 3 properties and finally had my realtor go through a local investor. I requested a refund after Anthony Podias asked for more of a downpayment to come up on the price of the house we wanted. I requested it on 12/03/12. I just received an email Monday from Anthony Podias stating that they had to wait for the file to be cleared and then they will issue me a refund. I never received anything from CIG or had any services because they only submited one offer that was not accepted. I have waited the time allowed for the refund. I tried to call CIG this morning and no answer. I am also going to pursue the Attorney General's office in both New York and Iowa where I live. Something has to be done. No one can get a way with this kind of thing even though it is out of state. Please tell me what I have to do to get my refund.
