I saw an ad on Craigslist for a dog and responded.I had to send a money gram to help pay cost to ship. The seller had to move by the 17th. I went to Walmart, and money gram department should open at 7, but Iwas told that because of robbery in Laural Maryland, they would not open till 7:30. Came back and applied for my first time moneygram. I was not asked for ID, nor was I given an option to have it delivered overnight. Instead the money went right away, and I later realized I had been scammed after having time to go on line and see a similar situation. I don't feel these associates are properly instructed, and it's to easy to throw someones money out to whoever. I asked about safety, and was told that most scams were money sent out of U.S., and this is totally not true. I also feel that Walmart should have flags on the same names that I was able to easily find on the net through Google in order to stop these types of transactions.

- That's not Walmart fault that is Craigslist found and your. you have to do background checks on everyone.

- How is this Walmart's fault? You fell for a scam on Craigslist. Your fault. You've learned a lesson now so just don't fall for a scam again. If you see a Craigslist ad and they want you to send money - that's your que that it is a scam.
