I contacted CIG in hopes of being able to obtain a loan to purchase a property and to initiate rebuilding my personal credit.
They insisted on having my down payment of $5000.00 wired to them before they would begin negotiating the price of the property.I cleaned out my 401K, sent them the money, have since purchased the property by other means because they low-balled the purchase price too much. And have been requesting my money back since August and still haven't rcvd it back. I have had to hire an attorney.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I have been given three different dates of when my money will be returned, and I haven't gotten it back yet. I have reported them to the BBB and am preparing to call the Attorney General. They scam on people's dreams and take their hard-earned money! Anything anyone can do to help would be appreciated.

  • Hello there??? I am a VICTIM of CIG Realty too! And I am mad as H***!!! I have been trying to get my money back since May, 2012. I started dreaming about owning my own home in January, 2012. Got hooked up with a crook named Carlos who requested I wire my $5000 downpayment to CIG's bank account before I could proceed with finding my dream home and actually making an offer to purchase. I had high hopes; told my mom, grabbed my family, and we went home hunting crazy. The first house I found, had enough room in it for my mom. I got a call from the realtor telling me "congratulations, you bought a house". So I moved my family in with my mom while we waited for the paperwork to process. Two weeks later I get another call telling me I didn't get the house. So I went out and began the search all over for my dream home. Found one, then another, and another; but I kept getting told "nope" didn't win that bid; "nope" didn't get the earnest money check from CIG yet; "nope" CIG hadn't returned the paperwork yet; "nope" this issue; "nope" that issue. I began to think it was the realtor; so I struck out on my own and found a nice home. Starting dreaming all over again. Got the owners talking and willing to negotiate; and CIG froze. They stalled for three weeks then advised me they would be willing to go forward if I was willing to use my $5000 as the earnest money. I had no problem with that, but being a former realtor I know that if CIG dragged their feet on the deal like they had on all the others, I was going to lose my $5000 big time. No deal. So I asked them to refund my downpayment. That was in May, Here it is November and I keep getting one excuse after another. They responded to my complaint to the beter business bureau that the delay was due to incompetent staff, which they stated they fired. They won't give a date when I can expect my refund. I am so frustrated and M A H!!! I contacted the Attorney General's Office in New York and in my home state.

  • GIG sent me a contract in error for a couple in Pennsylvania. Since there are victims in multiple states, I believe this matter qualifies as an interstate crime which should probably be looked into by the FBI.

  • CIG Realty is working diligently to correct some issues that arose from the implementation of our initial business model and miscommunication between former employees and our customers.

Our objective is to satisfy any and all concerns of our customers and continue to move forward with our business.

Unfortunately CIG Realty was the victim of a malicious internet campaign that spread misinformation about the company’s business dealings and intentions. This campaign was implemented by disgruntled former employees. It is the policy of CIG not to discuss specific personnel issues.

CIG is in the process of contacting all its customers to address any concerns and answer any and all questions they may have. In addition CIG has hired a full time employee to handle inquiries.

CIG is dedicated to addressing our client’s concerns including refunding monies and scheduling new closing dates.

CIG is cooperating with the State Attorney’s office to assure customers complaints are being handled in a timely fashion.

Any customers who wish to ask questions or have concerns should immediately contact us at (516) 453-2602 or write us at CIG Realty, 1900 Hempstead Turnpike Suite 310, East Meadow, New York 11554.
