On 10/07/12 I applied for a 15 day free trial with Current Foreclosures.com. On 10/21/12 I noticed that $97.00 had been posted for a withdrawel to my account. I called 1-800-756-6798 which was the phone number from the website for assistance. I spoke to a man who assured me the charges would be withdrawn from my account within 48 hours, and that it would be no problen recieving a refund and canceling my membership. On 10/24/12 at 9am I looked at my account info and realized the money had been withdrawn from my account. When I called the number back from the website they told me they had no access to my account info that they could not discuss it with me and that they were only there to take my info and put in a request for a refund and a request to cancel my account. The phone operators said they were out of Texas and when I asked for information on someone I could talk to about my account, I was told all they had to give me was an address in Atlanta which address is above .I did a reverse address through Intellius and they had no info for the address. The monthly charges from the website were 30 somethin dollars which they assure you will not go through and that you can cancel at any time. How any money let alone $97.00 went through is beyond me. When I called last sunday the man assured me that an email confirming my refund and cancelation would be sent to my email, which email I never recieved. I ,make barely 200 a week and am distraught that I was unablke to discuss my account situation with anyone and feel helpless to resolve what seems to me highway robbery.
