Two young men came to my house. They were very out going and nice to talk to. They both asked if I would help them earn points by purchasing magazines and they continued to obtain my information and I wrote each of them one check for one magazine. So I bought two magazines with the thought that I was helping them and in return I would obtain magazines that interested me for a course of a year or two depending on the magazine. Wish I had known that this was a scam and that I could have cancelled the checks.
