started receiving menacing phone calls about an unpaid pay-day loan from six years ago. I authorized a payment bc I was at work and couldn't get online. they kept saying a warrant was going to put out for my arrest. when I got home there was no email confirm. from the company, no address I could find and today I'm receiving more menacing phone calls from a cell # claiming to be a legal dept. I've canceled my card and filed a complaint, told them they were going to be arrested for what they are doing. This is a total scam and given the ppl I spoke to aren't even from America and there's no addresses for the phone numbers I have, I had to cancel my card and file a complaint with the FTC. I feel foolish for falling for such a scare tactic but that's what it is. Noone wants a warrant for their arrest and given I was at work and was limited in what I could do, I paid. My bank is working with me so for that I'm very grateful.
