In late August of 2012, I was contacted at my place of employment by an investigator from Atlas Mediation in regards to a pay day loan from ace cash express. At that time I was told am amount of $1100.00 was needed to settled the agreement. I explained to the investigator I was a single parent and did not have that amount of cash at my disposal. I offered to pay $100 and I was told that was not sufficient. I was informed an amount of $745.10 would be accepted. If not, a warrant for my arrest would be filed with my county by 5 pm that day. In an attempt to resolve this matter, I offered to pay that amount on my next pay day. The investigator approved, however, I was told to give my account information so that the funds could be directly deposited from my account on the specified date. I gave the investigator the information and I was told I would receive an email upon receipt of payment. On June 4, 2012 the funds were deducted from my account. I never received an email nor a receipt of payment. To my dismay, today, February 2,2015, I was contacted again in regards to this same account. The money I paid was never reported to the creditor and I am now facing charges for non payment. I am furious and all I'm seeking is the 745.10 to be applied to this account.
