Problem in paying off .01 on car loan can't get title and plus they want an inspection, like drive away with car, for what reason? They had a lien as holder of title for approx. 12 months, paid off loan except one penny. This sounds like to me fraud or at best avoidance of being professional like asking what it's for? No response. I want to know what if any lien is owed, no letter of amounts owed. Think they want to take my car. Can't get my title back showing it's satisfied.
