I received a call from a sales arm (high pressure tactics) of Apply Knowledge. They promised multiple income streams and an ROI within 3 to 6 months of an initial investment of $10,800. Additionally, I paid $39.95 per month for hosting. They recommended two sites: one for product and one for affiliate marketing ($39.95/month for each site). They charged me $39.95 for a merchant account which was an affiliate site!!!!

For months, I was advised to start with ebay, build a website, find a fun niche that I really liked and assorted other tasks.

I was very vocal and expressed my concerns. Their response was to change coaches. Many of these coaches followed a script which in hindsight were based on very old outdated tactics that would never generate income because it was focused on Google.

I requested my money back which they said they could not do after 3 days. Also, because they hire an outside high pressure sales organization to sell for them, they said that they had no recourse.

They then told me that if I ever wanted to see a ROI, then I needed a custom website built by them quickly to start driving revenue. This of course was an additional $2,100 (August 2011). I was so frustrated and thought that maybe this would demonstrate how the process works and actually give me a ROI. After paying the money, once again Apply Knowledge said they did not have the capability to do this. After much back and forth, they FINALLY refunded only the $2,100.

Their training is very poor quality and outdated. It is general information and comprised of recorded webinars. Often when I was instructed to go through the webinars, they were mixed up and not even relevant. When I called attention to this, they apologized and directed me to yet another general poor quality session.

I asked to talk to someone who they coached and that had found success with the program. The coaches all had little tenure and could not provide one person with the exception of someone in India making a few dollars a month.

High pressure, unwilling to refund, promised and committed to getting a return on my investment. They lied and misrepresented their services, with no accountability or liability.
