Was contacted by phone touting "How To" internet sales training and web hosting/website building. Training consisted of nothing more than how to sell on ebay which was available at ebay for free followed by using Google adwords, wordtracker and wholesale match to no avail. After weeks of chacing my own tail with no satisfaction, I ended my involvement in the program and demanded my money back. This was also on the heels of finally investigating AKI and discovering a long list of scam complaints against them. They said I would never get a nickle out of them. I have since contacted Utah officials regarding scam but no reply. I want the world to know about AKI, Wholesale Match (that's another story costing $1,500.00) and The Tax Club and say Be Very Afraid. Beware the false promises. They are money vacuums and your wallet holds the dirt. Green dirt.

  • I will concur with everything that you mentioned in your complaint above...other than your involvement with Wholesale match as I have not had any involvement with them. I personally also gave Applied Knowledge $16,000 and did not get anywhere near what I thought or what I had been told I would get out of their program. I ended up leaving their program, tried to cancel & get my money back but they also told me that they would not refund anything to me...this was in September 2011. The only thing they would do is put my account on hold until I wanted to start my coaching sessions again as well as discontinue my hosting charges (which I was paying @ $39.95/mo...for nothing since I didn't even have an operational site. I will be submitting my own report as well! There is no way I will ever be able to use their services for anything useful.

  • I have also been scamed by this company. Looks like I was lucky, they only got $1000 dollars out of me. I feel so stupid that I did this. All I was trying to do is make some money. I was unemployed at the time and thought it was a good idea. Like JEckstrom they didn't tell me anything I didn't already know about selling and drop shipping on the internet. after a month or so, I told them I would no longer be paying this monthly installment. They told me "YOU HAVE A CONTRACT" and that they wouldn't break this contract and that if i didn't pay that I would be sued!
They hounded me for months afterward telling me that they would ruin my credit. I wish I had never tried this out!! I feel so foolish and I lost money that I can't get back. I guess that the only thing I can do is educate others and help out so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Like anything else what they did will come back to haunt them someday, I only wish I would be the fly on the wall when that happened. If it looks too good to be true its a scam! Don't do it ! Please
