This company had my elderly Mothers bank number and called her and asked about her Social Security. Then they took out 447.34 on June 1, 2012 from her Checking account. The number given to the bank was for a YR Benefits at 888-778-0073. When this number is called it reaches Third Party Customer Service based in Canada.
On the first call they said that a refund would come after 21 business days. Then second call said they would contact the "business" again to call back in 7. third call the same. Then on 4th call, August 6 2012, they gave me the "company/scammer" who is I Ben Med or ibenmed based in NY. Address is 3106 St Route 11 Mooresforks (or Moores Forks) NY 12959. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY hitting Older people and somehow acquiring their bank information prior to making the calls.
