I went on a dating website (christiancafe.com), and communicated with this man for three years. He consistantly asked me for money due to different situations that he supposedly was in. He supposedly worked for the Spanish government as a civil engineer, and one of his partners embezzled from him. This is why he began asking for money. Then he supposedly went into the hospital for head trauma, and needed money for a hospital bill. He also was supposedly going in out of jail, because of the embezzlement problem.
He eventually told me he was going to escape from Spain, and he needed money to get to England. I sent money periodically between 06/09-10/11. One lump sum was $25,000 to Nigeria.....this was set up by his "lawyer" Mike Martinez.
There also a another man named David Williams, who supposedly lived in England, and owns a house in Cortland, NY. He was trying to get money out of me, too. He basically was bribing for money, so he would testify to the court in Spain that he had nothing to do with the embezzlement.
