I just noticed 3 separate charges for $40 (spread over about three weeks)on my statement.
Called apple and they said that four accounts had been created with the same number and that three of them had purchased one $40 gift card. Each gift card had already been redeemed.
Filed report with bank.
Glad I caught it before the amount grew any further.
BTW I have never purchased anything from Apple (Though my card apparently has).
