I submitted a trademark application using the website www.directlegal.com on 5/14/2012. In order for this application to be processed and submitted I was charged $524.00. This amount covered their “EXECUTIVE PACKAGE” which includes: Professional review for accuracy, common errors and completeness, Electronic filing with the United States Patent & Trademark Office, Digitalization & formatting of your trademark logos or specimens to meet USPTO requirements, Telephone & email Customer Support, Federal Trademark Search for direct conflicts with your trademark name, Trademark Monitoring for updates during the USPTO processing of your application – includes email reports. (One year), Priority Express Rush Processing – 1-2 business days processing of your Trademark application. I have yet to receive anything other than the receipt included in this fax which included an application # 4xxxx5. My trademark application was never processed and after numerous attempts in calling and emailing this company I have yet to receive any feedback or a serial number that serves as confirmation that my application was in-fact processed through the U.S.P.T.O. It is now July 12, 2012 and no one from this company has returned my calls or emails. I have never done business with this company before. After doing further research unfortunately I have come to find out that this company has many reports of fraudulent activity in scamming people out of their money.
