We order a LG 55LM6700 TV for $1100 on 7/4/2012, was suspicious when asked to send Amazon gift card but went ahead anyway. I found the gift card has been claimed and I still haven't received my item. No order status updates from the company. Repeated emails went unanswered and now the web site is down. There's no contact TEL. This company is a scam. Does anyone know how I can get my money back?

Update: 07/11/2012

I've also filed a compliant with FBI on bytems.com,
http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
Everyone who has been scammed by this company should file too.

  • Wondering if anyone get their money back from Amazon.com?
My CC said they are not responsible as I agreed to purchase Amazon gift card and asked me to contact Amazon. Amazon said they are not responsible for someone using my gift card and asked me to go after the company. But the company is no longer there!!! Amazon did say they are internally investigating this case but can not disclose their investigation or findings. What? I've also filed with ic3 and reported to state attorney general, but of no avail.
