I have a signed contract between Miguel Zabludovsky of SLATE NYC dry cleaners, and myself of SPACE107, LLC (written by both of our lawyers) stating that he would pay me $9000.00 to vacate my lease at (Personal Information Removed), payable when he had a signed lease with the landlord. He moved into the space in the first week of May. Since then, Mr. Zabludovsky has not paid me and has instead promised to pay me as soon as he got his deposit back from his previous landlord. I was counting on the $9000 to pay for my moving expenses and to help keep my business solvent. I have found all kinds of complaints on yelp.com [ www.yelp.com/biz/slate-nyc-new-york ] , among other sites, that seem to confirm my worst suspicions: Mr. Zabludovsky is a fraud and a con-artist.
