The representative "Rahul Mehta" was selling a cruise vacation to Alaska to the ethnic Indian community. I bought two balcony tickets from him by check. It was supposed to be a group with special ethnic food and entertainment and thus more expensive than the regular tickets on the Norwegian Cruise Lines. We were set to sail on June 25 2011 I started a couple of weeks before to reach "Rahul" for info but he disappeared. No answer on phone (disconnected) or email. So I called Norwegian and found there was no booking for us. I don't know what to do now. We know the check where it was deposited. Please advise.

- We were planning to book thru them. Were you able to hear back from Rahul Mehta/Maharaja Cruise? Did you finally board the cruise? If not, did you get the money back?

- I have same experience as you. You should complaint to AG Illinois comsumer department as well as there are other places you may file a complaint. If you get this post e-mail me at [email protected] with your contact information. We should all work together to get our money back.

- I am able to communicate to Rahul and he has promised me the refund by next week. I may not take any further action and stop all my initiative towards him if i receive our refund. This way we can end our dispute.

Rahul has failed to keep his promise and has not sent refund as promised. I encourage every one to file complaint with IL, Ag's office. more people file complaint the case will become stronger. I have heard that he has done this again on 8/13/11 cruise. Poeple should wake up and complaint.
He makes false promises and cheats people. -
