RAHUL MEHTA- if you have to take Norwegian Cruise (Maharaha Cruise) to Bahamas, the dates were June 18th, 2012 to June 22nd, 2012... you will politely speak to Rahul Mehta if it is a potential sale. He will talk to you so sweetly and genuinely, that your vacation seems so easy to plan. We had a booking with him done on March 10th, 2012 for 20 people in a group. I had tons of family flying in from India to stay with us especially to take a cruise with us as a family reunion. We booked and got the confirmation, but as the dates got closer, we had no paper tickets, or confirmation to get on the cruise. After calling Norwegian Cruise, we discover there is no booking for our group, none of the suites we wanted, no name and nothing.
After contacting Rahul Mehta several times (of course at this point we sent him two checks totaling the amount of $15,000) the checks cleared, but no response from Rahul Mehta in regards to what is going on with our tickets. He doesn't pick up his phone, he doesn't call you back, and he emails you in the middle of night at about 3am (EST) thinking no will be awake by then, so we decided to stay up and respond to his email RIGHT AWAY regardless of the time. During the day he never calls you back or answers his phone. Finally as of June 8th, 2012, we have gone and requested him to cancel our booking, because we gave up on days on end to get a hold of him.

Middle month of May 2012, when we had no news from him, and he was missing in action, we went to the police to file a complaint b/c we were not able to reach him for our tickets. It was now time we were panicking. After sending him a few threats of taking him to court, and filing a fraud complaint, he finally responds to our email stating he is on vacation and will be back shortly. Even then days pass by he doesn't respond. Finally he said the work is in progress, and we will have our tickets on hand. Day by day, he will come up with excuses, the cabins were not given in the inventory which he requested, he needs 24 hours more, then story changes to 32 hours more to do the bookings of suites we requested. Finally as of today we have requested full refund to which I am sure he will make excuses as well to cut his fees and so forth.

We have hired a lawyer to sue him and take him to court. We are a group of 25 people, who have spent an arm and a leg to plan a family vacation and reunion, and some family members were going to meet us on the cruise it self, but Rahul Mehta has made our trip a nightmare and is not courteous, sympathetic or professional. He lacks work ethics, and we have also filed an official complaint with Norwegian Cruise to have agents like Rahul Mehta. We are going through all channels today to make others aware about what RAHUL MEHTA does to people's dreams and money.

PLEASE PEOPLE, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, I AM HONESTLY TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. IF YOU WANT TO TAKE THE MAHARAJA CRUISE PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH RAHUL MEHTA, FIND SOMEONE ELSE OR AVOID GOING ON THE CRUISE IT SELF. I WILL POST AN UPDATE ON WHAT HAPPENS TO THE COMPLAINTS AND THE CASE I AM FILING AGAINST HIM.
