I visited the Seal Beach store on Friday
5/11/12 with the intention of purchasing a
Dyson DC-25 vacuum. I had brought along a
competitor's ad since on their web site, it
indicates that Kohl's will match a
competitor's price. The
supervisor in charge stated at
first they didn't price match but after
going into the back room, he came out and
stated that they don't price match on
vacuums. I then sent in a formal complaint to their corporate head quarters. The initial representative told me that it was up to the store manager to decide if they will price match or not. I told the customer representative that this was not true and reiterated that their own website states that they do price match. My complaint was then elevated up higher and that person told me that they only price match selected stores such as Sears, Target, and Walmart. This seems to me like a classic case of bait and switch.
