I applied online for a unsecured loan from Glenstone Financial. My call was returned and was told from Eric Baker that I was approved. I recieved the loan documents via email and was told to sign them and return them immediatly through fax, which I did. I then recieved a call stating the money would be refunded through a private lender who required a refundable security deposit. I was to send it western union. My gut said not to do it but I was in a jam and needed the funds fast. I was then told I needed to pay insurance on this loan upfront. I again sent this wester union and even told the western union agent that I shouldnt be sending this money,I really wasnt being stupid, I was desperate. I was told the money would be there in 24 hrs, and then was told it had been processed and should already be there. Then I get a call asking for more money. I said no and to return the deposits I had sent. I was told it would be returned in 7-10 days. Now their phone is disconnected and I am out 2800.00.
