Recieved a call from a lady named Kathy at Glenstone Financial Group and said I had been approved for a loan at 8% even though I had never applied for it, but I would need to send in advance a fee of 16% of the loan as insurance for the lender.The companies website said it was located in Charlotte,NC. When I called back the customer service person said they were located on the 28th floor even though the building has only 17 floors and when I call the BBB and the property manager they both said their has never been a business named that there. This scam sounded almost identical to a company called Washington Equity Group that had promised me a loan last month,but with an advance fee that they wanted me to send through Western Union. It has since gone out of business with phone number disconnected and the website taken down.Don't fall for this scam!
