I was checking my account online this morning and I found this unauthorized charge for 7.63 to coolwebgames.com. I called the bank and they are taking care of it, but they had to cancel my debit card again....this just happened a couple of months ago with a company called ProSports (also based in MN as is coolwebgames). Frustrating!! When I asked if there was a way to prevent this from happening, the rep. from my bank told me that they can do credit monitoring for unauthorized charges on my account for ONLY 6.99/month!! What?! Shouldn't it be a service provided by the bank free of charge? Time to switch to a credit union.
