My husband and I did not apply for a payday loan and to my surprise $14.95 was taken from our account. I pulled up their website and found a contact number for customer service (888-485-6331). I called on the 8th and our names were not in the database and I was told it would take 24 hours to appear and that a supervisor would call me. The representative asked me for all of my information and the only thing I provided was a phone number to reach me--IF this was a legit transaction they would have all of our info--- I waited 48 hours and called back; still our names did not appear and I was told it takes 24 hours and a supervisor would call me back. Keep in mind we are now at 48-72 hours and the representative asked me again for ALL of my info and I only gave him a contact number. Well here I am 14 days later and I decided to call back; I couldn't find the number so I went back to the website and the number that was listed and not easy to find was 800-809-2138. To my surprise a representative from Money Mutual answered and was very polite. She told me they are not affiliated with funded payday.com and the issue is being investigated...I was really puzzled at this point!! I continued to research and I stumbled upon this website, found the original number I called and tried again. This time I spoke w/Cody who now says my husbands info is in their system but yet he was asking me to give him the info (name, address, social, DOB, acct # etc). I politely told him no and that I would tell him whether or not the info he has is correct. The only thing the rep could give me was my husbands name, an OLD address and the last 4 of our account number. He apologized several times, said he would issue a refund to our account and it would take 4-7 business days to appear; he also said he would delete my husbands info from "their database". He gave me a confirmation number so now I will wait and see.
