The Novel Network was suppose to be a one time fee of $49.95 and get unlimited books -- new, bestsellers, new releases, popular authors etc... all I got was the same free books you can get off amazon -- obooko -- kobo -- etc.... this was a total scam and they have not returned any of my emails. Do not register or give your money away to THE NOVEL NETWORK!!

  • I know this posting is not recent, but I am putting this comment here to help victims who are still being scammed as I was almost a year ago Don't let them get away with this ripoff. Go to Plimus, the company that collected your money for them. I called them at this toll free number 1.866-312-7733.They asked me the order number and the date of order, and I had my money back in my account by the next day. I had used my debit card for the purchase. Also I think it is ironic that the purpose for Plimus as a collector is (quote) "Software registration service offering payment processing, subscription services, code, copy and fraud protection." But if enough people fight back in this manner, perhaps they will go away! Let them know that you willing to fight them for your money.

  • Yeah! Right!! Burn me once, shame on you, Burnme twice shame on me. This site is strikingly familiar right down to the pop up that offers a discount. Same game, different name. Hope everyone has learned from their first experience. To other readers, if you get the email from this site unsolicited as I did, dump it into the SCAM file immediiately.

  • I need to add a little more info to this comment. After I submitted the first comment, I went into the Whois for domains. Of course, the domain owner can protect their identity on the Whois list, but the best clue I got was that the mailing address of the owner of BOTH websites Novel Network and The Reading Site as well as the phone number for Both websites are identical. They are leaving no stone unturned to steal your money. BEWARE. Your best bet is to buy your books where you bought your ereader. Amazon for Kindle, etc. I have a Kindle, and Amazon offers many free books every day!! No strings attached!!
