A few weeks ago I was presented with an offer from Auriavie Skin Care for a free 'Auravie 3 in 1' product offer. The offer said pay shipping and handling of $4.95 and this free product would be sent to you. NO WHERE on the offer was it shown to me that in actuality I was signing myself up for a monthly re-curring charge for monthly delivery of this product!! Yesterday I checked my account and discovered that they had charged me $97.88. I called them, they insisted that I knew what I was signing up for and that they were not required to refund me ANYthing because I knew what I was signing up for and did not cancel within the trial period. I WAS NEVER SHOWN THAT THERE WAS A TRIAL OFFER PERIOD!! Their advertising schemes are NOT clear, they do NOT tell the interested party that they are signing up for 4 months of charges with the 5th month free! Kind of them I'm sure to give the last month free. I bought into it, yes, but the bottom line is that if they operated under full disclosure, I would NOT have paid for the shipping and handling. Auravie Skin Care is highly suspect and I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in the state of California's Consumer Deptartment Division. I would reccomend that any other victims do the same.
