Received a text from 1-347-933-1805 saying:

"Congratulations, your entry into our contest last month made you a WINNER! Goto http://www.apple.com.textwon.com to claim your prize! You have 24 hours to claim"

It is a scam, that requires you to enter you cell phone number at a certain stage, resulting in you "signing up for" an sms premium service (fine print). This essentially means you are authorizing an ongoing subscription to receive some sort of text, at a charge of $9.99/week (billed directly to your cell phone bill), until you cancel the subscription. I'm familiar with this kind of scam, as I used to work at a wireless cell phone company. These charges add up fast, and often the cell phone company won't adjust the charges. I've seen some that are upwards of $2.00/day. BE AWARE!!!

....to cancel the subscription, you will have to reply and text the word "stop" to a received message from this spam on your cell. I also recommend calling your cell phone provider, to see if they to can contact the spam company directly to request them to stop.
