I bought Lenovo G570 for 560$+/- out the door. My Lenovo LED screen started losing pixels after 2 months of use, so I bought onsite repair warranty for 39$ for one year, after countless hours on a phone a tech has been dispatched to my house to replace it, after about 2 months down the road I had the same problem w/LED + this time my camera also failed and I was told it was a cosmetic problem so I had to send it to get repaired, so I did, then after it’s been repaired laptop worked for about a month before my LED bezel started coming off and my keyboard stopped function, I called and they said it was cosmetic damage so I had to send it back to repair(WHERE IS MY ONSITE REPAIR WARRANTY AT??)
So I bought two more years of warranty from them for 99$ it’s called on site but really it’s a send-in warranty.
I also had my memory failed on me and my hard drive full of bad sectors…… and it was considered as cosmetic damage too, so I had to send it for a repair.(NOW on 4.23.2012 at a Lenovo possession)
I owned this laptop for about 8-10 months and only used it for about 1-2 months of owning it since onsite warranty is SEND IT IN WARRANTY and Lenovo is a bad company, their 1 800 people are not organized and tell what they think since supervisors also never heard of what last rep said and it’s always not true.
So PLEASE people RECORD every word they say to prove it to higher up person what was told to you by a lower rep.
Better off never buy Lenovo or an IBM product again!
