I got an email from AE that offered a card with no annual fee, O% interest for a year, and 10% bonus points on all purchases after one year, 20% after two years, etc. I immediately applied for it. When I got done, immediately - less than two seconds - I got a message from AE saying it had been declined???????
I called the 800 number and the rep said I was denied because that card offer expired in mid March and was no longer available. BUT, they had other card offers that were available. That is a perfect example of the classic bait and switch con.

I don't know, how, or who, to report this. The oversight authorities that prohibit this kind of scam should act on this.
