  • The seller juliet-2012 have done the exact same to me. They are thiefs and constantly tell you they will refund you. " they are honest sellers" blah blah blah same as they told you. Saying from " your friend peng" fuming I actually senty dress back to them so they have my money and my dress. Assholes that account needs shutting down. And am doing everything in my power to make sure that happens

  • Hi, I am another Daniel Steven Babcock, from San Diego, CA. And I just wanted to clear my name of this, as it's either a strange coincidence that this damn scammer: Daniel Babcock, has the same names as mine, or it was identity theft. Actually, a detective contacted me, to find out if it was me lol she easily found out it wasn't me, and I probably got my info snagged from a scam I fell for, a long time ago. I'm sorry that this other Daniel is scamming people, and I hope the detective that contacted me, catches this prick and clears my name. Thanks you guys, and I know what it's like to fall for these scams, I've been there. I pray that you guys recover quickly from these loses done to you by this prick.

  • yes i also found a BMW 750 LI by the seller name of Alexandra Hest

    and she told me the same exact words and that the payment is through eBay

    i have an account on eBay and i was trying to look up the car or the sellers name but there is nothing .

    after seeing your msg i know now that it is a Scam Be careful .

  • Im guessing with the union and other components of this scam leaving bread crumbs, since they would have to personally pick up the western union and there are cameras at those places that the law would be interested in stopping scammers, and if they have a site im sure you were not the first, so if its 22,000 in one hit then how much have they scammed in total, which could be a big bust. See if you can take it to the cops, a lot of scams out there unfortunately, one of the biggest risks of Ebay, if its too good to be true it probably is. Hope you can if not get your money back maybe see these scumbags thrown in jail for their scams, also you should probably notify Ebay that someone is using their logo to scam, their lawyers would not be happy knowing that and who knows what legal action they could take.

  • You need to stop listening to the sellers sob stories and contact Ebay customer service to become your mediator, they do not want the bad reputation as being a scam site and so when there is the seller who is scamming people they usually help in dealing with it, even if its just giving your money back. There are some sellers who will grossly misrepresent their products and others who just flat out are trying to scam and prey on people, never sending products. Contact Ebay customer service with your complaint and be sure to leave a negative review on the seller to warn off other buyers, note to which always look at a sellers reputation before buying from them, make sure they have a lot of sales, make sure the reviews are positive, and check the few negatives and if they are just it took too long to get here you are pretty safe with a seller. If the seller is very new with almost no sales/reviews then you run a higher risk its a scam account, or if there are a lot of negative reviews on the seller. Hope this helps and you can get your money back.

  • I have also just been deceived in the EXACT same scam - even the wording in the email is the same. I have submitted my information to Paypal and my item is still in transit - they haven't even gotten it yet. I have been told by Paypal to call the USPS and intercept the package before it's delivered but that seems like a long shot. The sad part is that I even called Ebay and asked about the shipping to Japan when the winning bidder was a US address and they had nothing to say execpt that as long as the funds were in my paypal account it was fine.

  • I just sent off two gold coins and was researching the email of the buyer since they filed a chargeback on my paypal account before they even got the items. I too had someone pay and then ask me to ship to Japan. I even called Ebay and asked about this since it was the first time I had encountered this. Their email, on their paypal payment page was [email protected] but then i got an email from someone else. I now have lost 2 large gold coins but trying to fight it appears hopeless. Any suggestions would be helpful. I do have delivery tracking and Paypal told me to call the USPS andd try to intercept it before it's delivered. I hope I am successful in doing so.

  • Hi: I was scammed last week by an indivisual. My advise to all who get scammed to file with attorney general, IC3 & local police. Lastly with Western Union and ask them for providing insurance on the transfers for fraud and scams. This way they become more vigilant and hold the receiving companies responsible. When I complaint to Western Union the lady said no body complains to us. If everyone who got scammed complained then they will go after scammers. Thanks
