Heard radio add to cut credit card debt in half, and it was supposedly sanctioned by President Obama. Now, 10 months later I am told they have not paid any of my accounts. I now owe more interest and late charges. I was advised by my lawyer to cancel all future dealings with this company, but when I asked about returning the unused portion of the funds I was told I would only receive $2683.00 back. The rest of the $8880.00, ($6197.00) would be kept by the company that did nothing for me but get me further in debt. Is this a scam, or are these people allowed by law to rip me off?
