I had applied online for payday loans, I received a call from a man with a very strong Indian Accent. He informed me that I was pre- approved for a payday loan. He went over the over the phone verification process that all of them do, yet he requested my mother's maiden name, which no one does. Nevertheless, he proceeded to inform me of some discount program I wast really interested in, yet thought maybe it will come in handy. When he informed me it was $99.00 and $14.95 per month there after, I started to wonder. I asked him where he was located at, he said California. I asked him to explain the number he was calling me from having a (+) in front of it. He changed the subject. So, he gave me the web site info for the payday loan. I pulled it up. It sent me to another linked page. I called back and the numbers he provided me with were bogus. One went to voicemail like a cell phone.the other, did nothing. His number is an Indian cell phone and one of the others is a cell number aswell. Anyway, since I am so very suspicious, I researched the numbers and the company names. I am glad I found this post prior to them trying to remove the funds. Come Monday, i will change my account number and inform my auto pay of my new account. Hopefully they want clear my account before I can change it in Monday.
