I saw an ad on a website I was on (I want to say it was Facebook) for a free trial of acai berry pills that will 'help you lose your belly.' Feeling so gross after Thanksgiving, I clicked on the ad and ordered it. I was only charged for shipping which was $9.95 and received my bottle of pills in a timely fashion. The next month, I saw a charge for $90, and I was so pissed. Though $90 doesn't necessarily break the bank, but during the holiday season it takes a toll. I tried filing a complaint with my CC company along with the merchandiser itself, but I had no luck. The merchandiser would continue to put me on hold and transfer me from person to person. I had to eat the $90 charge and cancel my CC for safe measure. Advice for everyone, if you're going to purchase a bottle of diet pills or something, just go to your local CVS or go on Amazon.com!
