Beware of OpticsFast.com. They are a FRAUDULENT COMPANY! I paid them $274.97 for a pair of Oakley Sunglasses with my prescription lens to be fit into them. In November I sent them an email requesting if they could do this; they said yes and I faxed them my prescription and confirmed my payment was for a complete pair of sunglasses with lenses. Over a period of 5 months of me waiting for my glasses to arrive, this company put me off and lied to me over and over again as to why I still had not received my Sunglasses i.e. they were back-ordered; the color was discontinued; the frames came in damaged so they had to send back and order new ones; the frames were in the warehouse and the order was being processed, etc. and over and over I should be receiving them within the next week to 10 days. 5 months of this. Finally I demanded my money back and was told their credit card company couldn't process a refund over 4 months. They told me that the frames were in and they made the lenses but couldn't cut them to fit the frames (which I later came to find out, only Oakley can do.) They refused and said they would refund my money for the lens portion but they had already shipped out the frames (without my prescription in the lenses) and were charging me $147.00 for just the frames (which is not what I ordered and paid for). The frames are useless to me without the script and I told them that and I wanted a refund for the frames and was told, "Well, that's not going to happen!" A legitimate company would have contacted me, after realizing they couldn't fit the lenses and said, Ms. DeLuca, we cannot fit your lenses into the frames but do have the frames in stock, would you like us to ship them to you? And, I would have responded, "No thank you! The frames are useless without my prescription lenses as I will not be able to see out of them!" I continued to email and call this company, speaking to almost every one of their customer service reps, including their Supervisor, Becky. My last correspondence back from them was a threatening email that they were going to bring me up on harassment charges if I continued to email and phone them and I should be careful of being picked up on federal or misdemeanor charges from my local police department!!!! This company and the people who work there are outright liars and thieves and try to bully the customers they steal their money from! They consider a consumer trying to get their money back from a product never received as harassment? I wonder what would hold up in court better. That or FRAUD?!!
