Complaint 8990 Details

On Monday, an Indian speaking individual, named Robert, representing USA Personal Loans, contacted me on my cell phone about offering a $1500 loan, which I had recently been looking for online. They had all my personnel information, which I'm sure they obtained from other applications that I had submitted on line. He assured me that if I would send them $150, via WU, the cost of their Western Union wire transfer, they would send me the loan plus the $150 refund immediately via WU. Well, I (stupidly) wired them the money to a Manish Kamrani, in Delhi, India. Of course, I didn't receive my money. They then called me and said that there was another fee of $275, which would also be returned to me, to be sent to a Prem Jha, also in Delhi, India. Well, I was so intent on getting the money that I lost all "Common Sense Thinking" and proceeded to pay the money, again. Well, needless to say no money arrived. After I called them, they gave me another excuse for the delay. Now, yesterday, they called me to ask for another amount of $375, again to be refunded to me along with the loan money. Well, by now I had just about all I can take. I did not send them anymore money and have $425 lost. I wish to file this to the appropriate authorities, FTC, BBB, FBI, etc.
By reading other testimonies online, I feel somewhat lucky that they only got $425 from me. Some poor individuals out there really got scammed for some serious money. If anyone has any advice, please pass it on to me. Thank You! Al G. at (Personal Info Removed)
