I purchased a settee from Antique Furniture Depot on ebay. I paid for the item plus shipping and I have yet to receive anything. It has been 6 months and Ian (the owner) has told story after story. They tell you it will take up to 3 months delivery so that you are out of the 45 day buyer protection window for ebay and paypal and then they never deliver. Not an honorable place to do business with.

- You need to stop listening to the sellers sob stories and contact Ebay customer service to become your mediator, they do not want the bad reputation as being a scam site and so when there is the seller who is scamming people they usually help in dealing with it, even if its just giving your money back. There are some sellers who will grossly misrepresent their products and others who just flat out are trying to scam and prey on people, never sending products. Contact Ebay customer service with your complaint and be sure to leave a negative review on the seller to warn off other buyers, note to which always look at a sellers reputation before buying from them, make sure they have a lot of sales, make sure the reviews are positive, and check the few negatives and if they are just it took too long to get here you are pretty safe with a seller. If the seller is very new with almost no sales/reviews then you run a higher risk its a scam account, or if there are a lot of negative reviews on the seller. Hope this helps and you can get your money back.
