I ordered a coat-it was the wrong coat, and a size3x. I wear a 1x. there were no identification or label. On Nov.3,2008 I was hospitalized due to triple pneumonia, with acute respiratory failure. I was hospitalized for 30day. When I came home the coat was hanging in my closet. At this time still recovering from the illness I never really examined the coat. two years ago I called these 3 parent companies and was I was told they had no record of the order. Then, I checked the coat pockets and hidden and sewn deep inthe pocket of the coat I found the label early last year. Why did theylie? I called and confronted these parent companies-they tpld me I TOO LATE CAN'T SEND IT BACK -OH! THE COAT WAS PAID FOR. fIRST, iCOULDN'T SEND IT BACK IN TIME FOR THEIR 30-60 DAY POLICY. IF ICANNOT IDENTIFY THE COAT NO LABEL ON THE NECKLINE OR IN THE SEAM- THEY CONSIDERED ME AS A 5 STAR CUSTOMER. i EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT MY HUSBAND OPENED THE BOX THE COAT CAME IN AND threw the box away and the order shipment log out too. They tried to scam me again in December of 2011. I had to send the entire order mailed back to them. My problem with this issue is that these companies are rigid about their 30-60day policy. they kept repeating their on-size-fit all policy. I called many times to address this issue. I AM NOT A`SATISFIED CUSTOMER- especially since its never been worn-It;s paid in full. I am livid and I feel like I was scammed. I've reported this incident to the credit bereau's. I sent an email to monroe and main on 2//15/12 informing them that I am holding back my pymts for outstanding debts to ALL of them. They lied to me about sending the coat and Ithink when you can't find the label on a product, then your trying to dump a coat(s) on their 5-star customer. They took my money and told me not to mail coat back because they'll just send it back and there's nothing they could do although the label being sewn in the pocket of the coat.
