I've been having problems with this company since the first time I signed up with them. The first time was when I signed up about 6 months ago. They sent me a phone and when I got the phone it had contact information information still in it, text messages from people still in it, and pictures still in the phone as well as information still in the address book. Then it stopped working, I call tech support to tell them what was going on with the phone and stuff and they troubleshot it like 4 times before telling me I needed to send it back and they will replace it. Well, not only did I have to pay to send it back, but I still haven't received a replacement phone. And when I called to check why, they didn't show any record of it. Well then there was a promo going on through another phone company to receive a free government phone, through MTI, after having this phone for about a couple of weeks I was sent a text message that I needed to recertify this phone with yourtel. Wow! Really? I did so. I my application was received. I did this on Jan. 9th. I chatted with someone at yourtel who at first claimed they didn't see the order for this phone or the one that was sent back. Then when I said I was going to report them, they mysteriously found my order that was submitted Jan.9th of 2011 and said it takes 7-10 days for minutes to go on. Mind you, when I called it was Jan. 18th. Now with the same phone that I recertified, I'm not able to make or receive calls. I called a few minutes ago. Shocked that I even got through for the representative to tell me they didn't receive my order. REALLY!? I'm not a happy camper right now. Not only is my personal information in their system, but I still don't have a phone or minutes on the phone that I use for emergencies. Something needs to and will be done about this scamming company. She told me I have to send in another application. I think not. No other goverment phone service takes you through changes like this. I had to keep paying on my phone that I have because I didn't want to get rid of the only phone I have for communication purposes until this one was ready to use.
