This is with Xoom's TV advertisement in The Filipino Channel (TFC) and on their website that read "Send your first transfer to the Philippines and watch the Pacquiao-Marquez fight for free on pay-per-view". Supposedly after sending my first money transfer to the Philippines, I would get an email telling me how I can get a pre-paid card worth $55 to refund what I paid to watch the fight. Up to now, and after countless of emails and calls where I would end up getting the run-rounds about receiving my pre-paid card soon, I'm still waiting for the so-called pre-paid card. They now have a new ad about referring a friend to use Xoom and get cash for the referral. Please do not trust Xoom. They propagate false advertising and cannot be trusted. I submitted a complaint to the FCC regarding this.
