I signed onto Star Rebates last March 2011 paid $32.00 for food and fuel rebates. Every month I was to send in store and gas reciepts in seperate envelopes with a monthly certificate. After eight months of no responces from my emails and religiously sending in what was required each month, I just figured I had fallen into a scam. I filed a complaint with the State of WA Attorney Generals office. Within 30 days a rep from Star Rebates called me explaining they had over extended themselves, were not getting reinbursed by the vendors and because of the economy could not pay everyone right away. They did send me a check (which cleared my bank) for seven months of rebates. I stopped sending in gas reciepts in Aug 2011 because my Prius does not burn fuel and I just was not buying $100.00 of gas a month. I am still sending in food reciepts each month and will give them more time. Hope this helps those of you with the same or simular problems. Thanks for reading my post.
