this companys' web pages hi-jacked my computer so that I could not do anything. The pages said I had hundreds of viruses and that there was unauthorised acess to my bank accounts etc.
The only way to get rid of this hi-jacking; even though I already had McAfee anti virus in place, needless to say when I downloaded the licence key there were no viruses. My bank has been advised and there is going to be a dispute on the payment.
If you can assist it would be greatly appreciated.I will be sending a stinging e-mail to the company concerned asking for a refund but will not be holding my breathe.

  • I messed with that same deal on a buddys PC....and he had paid the money too..i usual don't have much trouble ditching that garbage but maybe because he paid the money...it wasn't happening..ended up doing system recovery (compac) from the 7 gig partition on the hard drive to get around it....You might try lookin on the internet to see if anybody has found a way to clean out the crap...If your don't have compac....it might be time to buy a fresh hard drive and load up win 7...run the problem hard drive as a secondary and snag your files off from the new drive..not much chance of dragging it with you as long as keep your stuff separated........Rule of thumb..when you are on the net and a page comes up that looks fishy..dive for the power plug..that will usually poof the problem...wish the fcc would track those people down and send them to gitmo..a couple high visibility convictions would be a real deterent
