"I may never get my money back from these scammers - but at least I can protect other consumers from their lies.

DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS ORGANIZATION !!!

MacPalace IS A COMPLETE SCAM !!!

I ordered a refurbished MAC on their site. When it came to me the charger did not work and it had trouble loading discs as well as trouble playing movies.

I sent it back for a full refund just as they had instructed me to do so on the phone.

I had to pay for shipping, of course.

Rather than take the order back, they ripped open the package - threw in a new charger and sent it back "Return to Sender" ...

When I got it, the computer was no longer in protective bubble wrap - would not turn on at all - and the charger still would not work.

I took it to a Mac Store, which I have documented, and they couldn't get it to turn on or charge either. I sent documentation of this event to MacPalace as well...

So - I sent the computer back once again, paying for shipping a 3rd time.

Those shady bastards only refunded a portion of the cost, saying that they have a 30% "restocking fee" for any item that isn't damaged.

Um. Excuse me???? The computer would not turn on!
I call that pretty damn damaged.

When I called they told me the only person who could help me was their Manager - Jack.

Every time I called they would say, Jack isn't here ... or Jack has your message, he will call you back.

Today, I find out that Jack does not even exist. They have been lying to me the entire time.

Luckily I have documentation and recorded all of my calls with them.

They also tried to tell me that the computer worked "just fine" when they got it. "No problem charging, whatsoever" .... "Turns on without a problem" ... Although, they have shown no proof. Obviously they are lying.

I even sent them the documentation from the Apple Store saying it wouldn't turn on, and they STILL won't refund the remaining amount.

Like I said before. Even after filing a claim, I still might not get my money refunded. BUT - If I can save you from going through a scam, I'll feel better at the end of the day.

Just say NO to MacPalace.
Bottom Line. "
