I paid to have my house moved from Missouri to California. I was told they would come 1/4/11 from 2-4pm no one ever showed up. After calling a number of times I was told that they would be to my house the same day at 530-730pm, still no show. I missed my flight to California from Missouri due to their lack of professionalism . Finally, I received a call at 10 pm saying that they would be at my home at 1130pm to move me. I do not think this is appropriate to be moving me from my home at this hour of the night so I told them no and we had to wait until the morning. They gave me a time of 9 am for the following morning and they promised me compensation or reimbursement for there failure to show up on 1/4/11. They show up on 1/5/11 at 1130am thats two and a half hours after the time they told me they would be at my home. Once they began to move me they reaked of the smell of alcohol and showed no regard for being late at all. They joked about the tequila and corona that they had been drinking and actually forgot to move a huge box and a bed frame yet they marked those items down as on the van and as items they were supposed to move. I told them I would leave items outside my home for them to pick up and they never returned to pick items up(bed frame and large box). Now, I am a bed frame, a huge box and a flight ticket out because of their drunkenness and failures to appear on time. I contacted Robert from Northern Van lines out of the Eugene, Oregon Northern van Lines location and he was no help at all. The same goes for Shawn Levy from the Kansas City, Kansas location. Please help me my next step is to report this to the police.
