So I was on craigslist the other day looking up jobs and came across an add so i went into it and wrote to them ( i currently dont have a resume) and got a response right away (which i thought was odd) So i went in and answered all there questions got sent a app. code number i put it in and they wanted my credit report. I started filling it out when it dawned on me... why would i just give out my card info and social security number out to anyone like that. I looked up the website and at first glance ya it looks great, but thats all there is a front tpage nothing else works!!!! than i googled it and came up with scambook... sad day :( People seriously need to find better things to do with there time other than messing with peoples lives. Oh and the date was 12/20/2011 not the 18th it wouldnt let me change it at around 8-845 pm and i didnt get charged but i wanted to share my story!!!!

I did the exact same thing! Applied for a job on Cragslist (out of the Kansas area) and a 'Sarah Duncan' emailed me directing me to jobinclayton.info to fill out a pre-interview screening (which I did and seemed legitimate until the very end where it directed me to do a credit check.... googled Clayton Careers & Partners Scams and sure enough... scambook pops up with numerous accounts of this.
It is very sad and very frustrating to feel like you have to weed through this to find an actual potential job. -
