I joined Be2 in May. I navigated it for a month or so and connected with some people by email only. After that I did not use the site at all. Any other dating sites I had joined ie. RSVP and Match do 'pay as you go'. You get a reminder to pay further monies when the due date approaches and if you don't want to continue there are no problems because each payment is manually done, however unbeknown to me this BE2 Mob just keep automatically debiting for $234 every six months IN ADVANCE. When I got an email stating that they had not been able to get the money from my credit card, I immediate wrote to them and said I no longer wanted the service. They said they could not cancel the membership until the next six months payment had been made! I wrote again and told them I no longer wanted the service, I was unable to access my profile to delete it what should I do. They told me I would have to pay to access my profile to delete it! Unbelievable. After one week of emails back and forward they told me I would have to send a fax to a number in Australia (this mob are based in Switzerland somewhere!) to cancel the membership. So I did that and finally got an email stating that the membership would cease NEXT May 2012. I did not want any period after the initial six months which ended November 2011!!! When I got my cc statement, they had indeed debited my credit card statement even after me telling them I no longer wanted the email. SO BEWARE AND NEVER JOIN THIS DATING SERVICE. I have read now many complaints about this procedure they are adopting. I recommend RSVP or Match as I have good experiences with them and never ever do they debit your credit card without you manually authorising the payment for further subscription. I contacted my bank who reversed the payment to BE2. Now I have a threatening email from BE2 who are saying that because the payment to them has been reversed they are appointing a debt collector and then taking legal action and my credit rating will be adversely affected. My experience in general has been adversely affected due to the bullshit scamming way this company operates. I am contacting my lawyer and they can go jump! I'd rather pay the lawyer $234 than one further cent to this scamming lot!
