Purchased a new phone and plan from AT&T. Their rep offered this Flipswap exchange program they partnered with and said I'd receive $51 for my old phone. Four weeks later I received a debit card for $11. Called Flipswap and asked why the difference from my receipt from them for $51. She said the phone was inoperable and couldn't make an outbound call. The phone worked fine when I mailed it to them and the AT&T rep can attest to that. Guess I should feel lucky given the rest of the scam stories I've read regarding Flipswap and their business practices. Won't make that mistake again. Beware!

Update: 11/14/2012

The issue was resolved shortly after posting my complaint. I was contacted by Flipswap and fully compensated for the amount originally promised. Scambook works. They listened. Thanks!
