Recently purchased a Samsung Infuse from a Prime Mobile store in Peachtree City, Ga. store. I was price shopping and, although, they could not meet the price I found....was told that I would get $100.00 back from trading my old IPhone in. The store clerk inspected the phone, filled out paper work (included) and told us we would be mailed a "credit card" for $100.00! The paperwork was titled: FlipSwap In-Store Receipt.
3 Months later we received a credit card from "flip swap" for $20.00.
Why go through the trouble of inspecting the phone and filling out (official looking) FlipSwap paperwork....if it means nothing....or perhaps it is meant to to fool the customer into thinking he is getting a good deal!
My subsequent research into flip swap has revealed that they are a very shady company with numerous BB complaints. The fact that PrimeMobile would partner with them and mislead their customers is poor business strategy. Not only will I never do business with FlipSwap again....I will make a concerted effort to inform all my friends and neighbors how I was treated.
