DON'T SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP - IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL!

Blink Fitness is a scam! They make cancelling a membership a futile jumping through hoops so they can send your account to collections. After moving out of New York, I tried to cancel my membership in June 2016 with a certified letter mailed to their address (you can't cancel online or via phone). Never received receipt or any acknowledgement of the letter. They continued to charge my credit card, at which point my credit card company declined the charges. Next, I was bombarded with calls from their service center either early in the morning or late at night. When I called back during their business hours, I was repeatedly on hold for over 45 minutes before I finally got a representative, who then told me to e-mail a picture of the letter (which I had taken preemptively). I e-mailed the letter and never received a response. Now, the balanced they continued to charge me is in a collections account, with no indication of if my membership is in fact cancelled, or if upon paying it, they will continue to charge me and the cycle will repeat again. Worst experience ever!
