DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!! I received multiple calls from this company claiming they were with the federal grant department. They told me I was approved for an education grant in the amount of $3,200. All I had to do was pay a $3.87 charge for shipping. Being skeptical, I bought a prepaid card to make sure they wouldn't financially ruin me. I also asked for a website to verify everything on and on the phone a guy claiming to be Peter Heymen referred me to www.grants.gov and led me to the area where it says track my application. He then gave me a confirmation number, but when I tried it it said it wasn't valid. I told him this and he assured me in 15-20 minutes when the application goes through on his end it would work. Never happened. When I checked the card statement it said usfundclub.com took the $3.87 out of my account, and after googling them I found out others had also been scammed by this company. When I called the number on their website they told me I was given the wrong information, that all they were sending me was information to receive grants, not the $3,200 check I was promised.
