They called and told me that I was on the Marriott list that is why they are calling me. I am sure they got my information from Marriott as I was staying there recently. I was on the phone with them for 60 minutes. First a representative kept reading a sales pitch no matter which question I asked. He had a heavy Mexican accent. Then after he thought I was interested. He handed the phone to "his manager" to try to convince me who had a total "American" accent. He brought the price of 1 cruise, and 1 resort package to $1010 from $1195. Then he negotiated till $700. Then they recorded a call telling me all this where there was some mismatch to information prior said and I asked several questions to clarify. Then they asked for my address which I didn't give. I gave my credit card. They asked which bank. I said no bank. They didn't repeat the question. They require within 24 hours to send a copy of my ID to them via fax to get booked with them after they send me an email instead of mail. Then they call you right away to make sure you received the email. Thankfully I had plans and said no I already spent 45 minutes with you. I looked at their email and it said to send copy of ID within 24 hours to get registered for their bi-monthly promotion to win 2 business class air tickets as well. This is where I got suspicious. I googled scams with this company name and immediately canceled my card. I have reported to the police and am taking further precaution with authorities in Mexico. The number they call will be your local number. They are going for identity theft with the ID and bank information and personal address. This is a major SCAM.
