After I had a confusing experience where I had been drugged and raped by my ex boyfriend, I went to see a woman who posts signs all over West Broad Street who referred to herself as "Sherry Williams." She claimed to be psychic and operated a business out of her home. When I went to see her, she told me I had never been raped and she guaranteed this man would contact me once I gave her large amounts of money. She said he was my soulmate. She also told me I would DIE if I didn't pay her this money. She said his life would be in danger as well. She pretended to be buying spiritual items with my money, claiming to buy a gold tabernacle for $2,000 and claimed to buy dozens of expensive candles ranging from $100 a piece. She said she would send me a video of the tabernacle and when I asked her about it, she would not send any video.... she told me to stop my antidepressant medication even though I was suicidal and then she just kept taking more and more from me. Eventually I became frustrated and asked her Why this man never contacted me and Why nothing in my life had improved and she gave me bogus responses, dodged my calls, and blocked my phone number. I was sick to my stomach when I realized the scam. I contacted channel 12 and the reporter from NBC sought contact from her.... she denied ever knowing me even though I have hundreds of texts from her and calls from her as well as bank statements..... She changed her story and once the story aired, she changed her name again. She has changed her name various times from Stella, Sherry, West End Psychic to Carytown Psychic. She is committing fraud, extortion, and tax evasions. Her number is (804)742-8480 and she lives at 6100 Staples Mill Road, Virginia.
